Cobey Seamer

Cobey thrives on connecting with people and is deeply committed to empowering individuals and helping them achieve their goals. With over 15 years of experience in the disability sector, he has held diverse roles, including in support work, coordination, and senior leadership positions. Cobey also gained valuable insights into forensic disability through his two years supporting young people and families involved in the criminal justice system.

As a NDIS participant, Cobey offers a unique dual perspective, which he leverages to advocate effectively for others. He recently completed a Diploma in Community Services and is passionate about human rights and ensuring that everyone is treated equally. Cobey is dedicated to suicide prevention and awareness, working to break down barriers and create a positive impact in this space.

In his spare time, Cobey enjoys outdoor adventures with his partner and their two young sons. Whether it's camping in their family camper 'The Croc,' attending footy games, or enjoying Geelong's Eastern Beach, they cherish their time together. The family are big fans of Disney and monster trucks, with annual trips to Disney on Ice and Monster truck shows.

To relax Cobey enjoys mowing the lawns and practicing cold water therapy.
